Thank you so much for your hospitality in our recent trip to Bayeux. We came on a 3 generation "war trip" with my father, who served in World War II in the Royal Canadian Air Force, my 15 year old son and I. Your home was a perfect base to explore the area: clean, plenty of room and lots of character. Breakfast was always delicious. Of particular note, if I can help other travellers who visit was the use of your GPS which directed us to the various war sites of interest in the area. We had rented a car and driven from Calais. Your link to MapQuest on your web site made a journey to the Manoir easy and stress free. It was my first time driving in France. With the help of your programmed GPS, we were able in 2 days to identify all the war sites of interest to us (and we certainly could have spent more than 2 days exploring!) and easily drive to them. As many of the sites are on secondary roads and not adjacent to each other, we found the GSP a tool that made our travels stress free and easy. For others not familiar with the area, I would certainly recommend it (and I was reluctant to use it, thinking we would not need it!!). Thanks again for all your helpful guidance in identifying sites to visit, your programmed easy to use GSP and your hospitality. All were much appreciated by the 3 of us.
